Hardy, the number two overall prospect in the nation, is projected to go third in the 2022 NBA Draft. 100% of crystal ball predictions are currently leaning towards the G-League, but the combo guard from Detroit will decide between Oregon, UCLA, Kentucky and the professional route.

TyTy Washington’s list consists of Baylor, Kentucky, Kansas, Arizona, Oregon and LSU.

Washington, once a Creighton commit, cut his list down to six on April 17, which consists of Baylor, Kentucky, Kansas, Arizona, Oregon and LSU. Five of the colleges in Washington’s top six offered him after decommitting from the Bluejays on March 11, while LSU extended an offer in July of 2020.

Ranked No. 5 in the nation, Hardy came out with a top 12 in April with Kentucky, UCLA, Oregon, Arizona, Kansas, Illinois, Memphis, Michigan, Arizona State, Georgia, Georgetown and Texas Tech all making the cut. Photo courtesy of Pangos All American Camp

Jaden Hardy, out of Coronado High School (NV) was averaging 40 points per game before announcing he would forgo the remainder of his senior season on January 7. Drawing comparisons to NBA stars like James Harden and Bradley Beal, the six-foot-four guard is the best scorer in high school basketball.

No player in the nation has garnered more attention at the start of the 2020 prep season than Jaden Hardy.

TyTy Washington played his senior season at Compass Prep (AZ), a team that competed in Geico Nationals. With the Dragons, he averaged 24.5 points, 5.6 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals. He showed his versatility all season long, especially on the offensive side. The six-foot-three point guard and top 20 overall recruit has the vision and passing ability to be a playmaker for his teammates, but is also a crafty scorer.

If Hardy does elect to skip college, he will join five star Michael Foster and former Gonzaga pledge Fanbo Zeng on the G-League’s Team Ignite.
