Tobe Awaka – Ballstar Spotlight
Get to know Tobe Awaka (@tobeawaka4) from Hyde park NY. He currently attends school in the Bronx (Cardinal Hayes High school) with a GPA of 102. Tobe holds offers from Yale, Columbia, Marist, and Siena. He has Interest from Stanford, St. John’s, Providence, and Pitt. Currently Tobe is playing for the New Heights lightning AAU team where he plans to have a breakout summer.
It will only be a matter of time before every school in the country has contacted this young man.

Tobe had yet another dominating game against St. Francis prep during the 2021 CHSAA Spring League. Scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Rebounding, scoring, and defending are Awaka’s strengths. He is a 6’8 power forward in the class of 2022 and is only scratching the surface of what he could be in the future.
We hope to catch up with Tobe more this Summer and will certainly follow him on his journey???‼️ One of NY’s finest.
