The Greer Brothers: Legends of Washington Heights and Beyond

The Greer Brothers, Jeff and Ricardo, have left a mark on the NYC basketball culture.  They earned acclaim from their early days playing Streetball in NYC and later, their successful college careers which then led to lengthy professional careers overseas.

Jeff Greer, a dynamic guard, who balled for NYC powerhouse Cardinal Hayes.  He later took his talents to Rutgers University, where he made an immediate impact on the court. During his time at Rutgers, Jeff displayed exceptional athleticism and scoring ability, earning him a reputation as a prolific scorer. His tenacity on defense and leadership on the court solidified his position as a key player for the Scarlet Knights. Jeff’s impressive college stats reflected his prowess, averaging double-digit points per game while showcasing his versatility as a playmaker.

On the other hand, Ricardo Greer, known for his versatility and court vision, made his mark at Washington HS before going Prep to Cheshire Academy.  He then made his way to the University of Pittsburgh, and the Big East Conference.  As a forward, Ricardo’s ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game set him apart. His knack for rebounding, scoring in the paint, and creating scoring opportunities for his teammates made him a formidable force on the court. He did everything well and probably was the main threat on the opposing scouting reports.  Ricardo’s college stats reflected his well-rounded skill set, earning him recognition as a standout player with impressive scoring and assist numbers.

Following their successful college careers, the Greer Brothers ventured into the world of professional basketball, taking their talents overseas. Their transition to the international stage allowed them to showcase their skills on a global platform, where they continued to make waves with their exceptional athleticism and basketball IQ. Jeff and Ricardo have showcased their exceptional talents with various professional basketball teams across the globe. Some of the professional teams they have played for include clubs in Europe, Asia, and South America.
