Nike Pro League NYC – Elevating Basketball Culture to New Heights

The Nike Pro League in NYC is a basketball enthusiast’s dream come true.  League commissioner Bernard Bowen has struck gold with this league and every summer Nike Pro league is amongst the best in the country.  This unique tournament showcases the immense talent of streetball players in the vibrant and diverse streets of New York City.  This year the Pro City venue is none other than LIU Brooklyn with their top notch basketball facility.  With the power of the iconic Nike brand behind it, the Pro League has become a thrilling and highly anticipated event in the basketball community every year.

Pro City MC extraordinaire Joe Pope and DJ Authorize have really been a bright spot for the league year after year.   They really bring a party atmosphere to each game and keep the crowd engaged.  Another highlight of the Nike Pro League is the exceptional level of competition.  Players from all walks of life, both amateurs and professionals, converge to showcase their skills and prove their worth on the court.  At the end of the summer it’s a toss up regarding who are gonna come away champions.  Last season it was team A.L.F. Who came out victorious.

The talent on display is truly awe-inspiring, and fans can witness some of the most exciting and dynamic streetball games ever played.  Each summer, NBA players take the court to put on a show for the local crowd.  Guys like Cole Anthony, Jose Alvarado, Ty Jerome, and Kyle Anderson (to name a few) put on a show.  Also, NY Knicks players Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle and Obi Toppin suited up and took the court.

Not only does the Nike Pro League provide an opportunity for talented players to showcase their abilities, but it also amplifies the spirit of community and collaboration.
